...or at least one tree.
One gorgeous afternoon in early April I spent some time in the Holly Recreation Area, before the grasses, flowers and trees decided to bloom.
I came across this amazingly huge tree laying across the path and clearly newly fallen, though from the state of the core it's been contemplating the fall for some time.
Anyhow, I was out to test a new tilt-shift lens to see what I could do with it, and I ended up crawling inside the trunk of the tree as a result.
The results of that effort can be seen in a series of shots, collectively titled "All Bark", providing a little behind the scenes glimpse into the creative process. Check it out here.
